FABLE
Fable
Stories that point out lessons are called fables. The greatest fable teller, Aesop, told stories that usually featured animals. In Aesop’s “the Lion and the Mouse,” the story is about a powful lion and a tiny mouse, the story teaches that “sometimes the weakest can help the strongest.
” Aesop’s “the Fox and the Stork” shows that a tricky person does not always win, this fable may have suggested the old proverb “One who laughs last laughs best.”

A SHORT HISTORY OF CHOCOLATE
Chocolate was unknow in Europe untill after 1492, when Christopher Columbus (1451-1506 ) return from the first Europian explorations in the New World. Columbus, who though he had reached India, not a new continent, returned with many new treasures, many of them agricultural. He presented them all to this patrons, the Spanish King and his wife. they were probably not impressed with their new view of the small dark bitter cocoa bean and could not imagined how these bean might one day become the source of an international chocolate industry.
The first person to turn cocoa beans into something commercially important was the Spanish explorer hernando Cortez. Chocolatl meaning warm liquid.Chocolatl spread throughout Europe was made fashionable by various kings and queens.
In the nineteenth century , two major improvements were made to chocolate. The first came in 1847, when an English company introduced a smooth chocolate for eating. The second development occurred 1876, in Vevey, Switzerland , when Daniel Peter found a way to add milk chocolate , creating the product we enjoy today know as milk chocolate.

A FAMILY OF PLANETS
There are eight planets besides Earth in the Sun ' family. The world "planet" means "wanderer." Planets look to people like stars but they are really very different. Stars are very very hot. They shine with their own light. Planets do not shine with their own light. They shine only because the sun is shining on them.
Moonlight , as most people know, is secondhand sunlight . The Moon merely reflects the light that shines on it from the Sun. The light from planets is the secondhand sunlight, too.
Of the eight other planets, only five can be seen with the naked eye. People of ancient times knew of only five "wandering stars". The others planets were not discovered until over the telescopes were invented. The planets that are visible without telescopes are MERCURY, VENUS, MARS, JUPITER AND SATURN. The other are Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
Each planets moves with a speed that just balance the pull of the Sun. Many planets have moons that travel around them as they travel around the sun. Earth has one moon. Mercury, Venus and Pluto have none. Jupiter has twelve moons. Saturn has nine , Uranus has five, Mars and Neptune have two.

HOW MUCH DO YOU EAT ? HOW MUCH DO YOU BURN ?
For most history, people's biggest problem has been getting enough to eat. In the developed world too many people eat too much. Or rather, they do not balance what they eat with how much energy they use.
Energy is usually measure in calories. Technically is the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of a gram of water one degree Celsius. The energy you need comes from two places : the food that you eat and the energy stored as fat in your body.
Generally, an adult man eats about 2,500 calories of food a day. To be healthy, this should include about 83 grams of fat, 60 grams of protein, and 25 grams of fiber, as well as various minerals and vitamins.

YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ARE LIVING IN RENTED ACCOMMODATION IN AN ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY. YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE CONDITION OF SOME FURNITURE.
WRITE A LETTER TO THE LANDLORD EXPLAIN WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE FURNITURE , SAY WHAT ACTION YOU WOULD LIKE THE LANDLORD TO TAKE.
Dear Mr Smith,
I am your tenant from flat 3 on Riverside street. We meet each other when I signed the rental agreement in your office.
I have lived here for six months now, and I am writing to complain about some of the furniture. As you may remember the dining table is in very poor condition and has uneven legs. It also does not match the dining chairs as these are to low to be comfortable for a table of that height. When I first pointed this out to you , you agree provide a brand new dining set. However, you have not done and I would really like to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
If it is more convenient for you , perhaps you could simply replace the table by finding one of a suitable height for the chairs. This would solve the problem without so much cost, so I hope you agree to this proposed solution.
I am looking forward to hearing from you,
yours sincerely,
DAVID

6 ways Money can buy happiness
- Help others : human are one of the most social animals on the planet and having strong relationships. Many people can increase their happiness by giving money to charity.
- Buying a big pleasure , don't purchase little pleasure : for example going out coffee or having beer with friends or co-workers every day is less happy than buying two week trip to Hawaii. Money doesn't make you happy then you are not spending it Right.
- Buy experiences rather than things : experiences is that you can reflect on them and visit it again and again.
- Pay now , consume later is a bad idea and give you more stress : if you can not afford an item (example iphone 4s ) you shouldn't buy it on debt, wait until you can afford the purchase.
- Think about what you are not thinking about : example if you buy a house that is old and in constant need of repair, it might not bring you a hole lot of happiness unless you enjoy spending most of your free time doing repair. Remember : happiness is the small details of life.
- Listen to the crowd : friends, family members can tell you a lot about their experiences what brings them happiness.

10,000 hours of Practice
In the book Outliers , author Malcoln Gladwell says that it take roughly ten thousand hours of practice to achieve mastery in a field.
Bill Gate and Paul Allen became addicted to programming they acquired their 10,000 hours through this. Natural talent is not important as falling in love with practice for 10,000 hours minimum.
All of us want to be great at something? One approach: we could choose and practice for 10,000 hours. Practice play a major role in success.

WRITING 250 WORDS IELTS TEST
Would you prefer to live in a traditional house or in a modern apartment building? Use specific reasons and details to support your choice.
If I was asked where I would I prefer to live in a traditional house or in a modern apartment building, I think, I would hesitate to answer. This question, from my point of view, is a controversial one. In the following paragraphs I will analyze both these options and present my view.
From the one side, living in a modern apartment building brings many benefits. First of all, it is cheaper then living in a traditional house and paying different kinds of fees I am not familiar with. For instance, my friend, who recently bought a new house for his family, said me that it is much easier to live in an apartment and I tend to believe him when I see his bills. So, living in an apartment will definitely help me to save some money. Second of all, since I live alone I do not need a big house with many rooms. I just need a bedroom and a living room where I can take my guests and have my work place. Another important benefit of living in an apartment is that I will not have to buy much cumbersome furniture in order to furnish all rooms.
However, living in a modern apartment building can have a few disadvantages too. Firstly, it can be noisy and, secondly, I will not have any privacy outside my apartment, for example, in a pool or gym.
From the other side, living in a traditional house have some advantages too. For example, I can have my own pool, gym and a garden where I can relax and be alone. However, living in a house is usually more expensive and requires more time to maintain a house. For instance, I will most likely have to hire someone to mow my lawn and clean my pool not to mention all household tasks inside the house.
In conclusion, I think at this moment I would prefer to live in an apartment. It can help me save some money and allows me to spend more time studying because I will not have to do many household tasks.

Writing 250 words IELTS test
Which would you choose: a high-paying job with long hours that would give you little time with family and friends or a lower-paying job with shorter hours that would give you more time with family and friends? Explain your choice, using specific reasons and details.
If I was asked to make a choice between a high-paying job with long hours and a lower-paying job with shorter hours I would hesitate to answer. I did not decide for my self yet what I want in my life more my family or my career. I think that these options are very different ones and one needs time to make a right decision.
From the one side, a high-paying job with long hours gives one more opportunities to make a great career and succeed in life. Another important aspect of this is that one can earn more money for his family. In addition to these practical benefits, a person can get satisfaction and self-realization that are very important in one's life. I think that it is a very great and essential feeling to be a part of progress, make difference and be satisfied with the job. However, a high-paying job with long hours brings many disadvantages too. For example, a person will have less time for his family and friends. Secondly, the job will be more stressful and bring more responsibilities. A person will have to sacrifice many things to his job.
From the other side, lower-paying job with shorter hours can bring many benefits. One can spend more time with his family and have many pleasant and beautiful moments together. Also, a job will be less stressful and not require to sacrifice one's spare time to get it done. However, a person most likely will not be able to make a career and make much money. Moreover, one's salary may be not enough to pay for his children's education.
To sum up, I think that every person at least one time in his life realize this and make a decision whether he or she wants a career or great family. And I did not make this decision yet.

writing 250 words for essay
People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
College is a place where people go to increase their knowledge, to prepare for a future career, to get a new experience, to meet new people. Of cause, different people have different reasons to attend college, but all of them want to change their life for better. In this essay I will give the basic reasons and explain why people go to college.
First of all, every person wants to improve his or her life. So, college is one of the places that helps one get more from his life, to meet more opportunities. Knowledge is a power that can be gotten through studding. After graduation people may get better job and completely change their career and life.
Second of all, people go to a college to get a new life experience, which is very important because students learn to take care of themselves. Many of them work during their college years and earn their first money. It is really great and exiting. They learn how to save money and keep house, how to arrange their time in order to get all things done etc.
Additionally, students learn how to co-operate and communicate with each other. Many of them have to live with a roommate. From the first sight, it may seem difficult to live with a completely strange person, but it helps one to be friendlier, more supportive and it helps you save some money.
In summary, I would like to add that graduation is one of the major goals people try to accomplish in their life, because after that many beautiful, exciting changes will happen. That changes will make a person proud of himself.

Writing 250 words IELTS : student & Job
In some countries, teenagers have jobs while they are still students. Do you think this is a good idea? Support your opinion by using specific reasons and details.
Some people think that teenagers need to work while they are students. However, Other people believe that young people should not combine their education with a job. These two options are controversial ones. In my opinion, they both have disadvantaaiges and advantages. I base my opinion on the following points.
From one side, a working student has many benefits. First of all, a person learns how to arrange time to be able to combine his studding and earning money. Personally, I think it is a very important benefit a person can get from this. Second of all, a student learns how to save money and keep his budget. A person gains new experience and knowledge working with the new people. He feels more independently and spends his or her money more careful.
From the other side, a person can have not enough time to meet his or her course requirements. Sometimes it may result in a failure on an exam and a waste of money and time. From my everyday experience and observation some people require more time to study new materials and prepare for an exam. Others, at the same, can easy understand new materials. So, my point is that a person should decide for himself whether he will be able to combine his studding and his working.
Another important aspect of getting a job is that a student most likely will have no time for parties, movies and his friends. I think that he or she should understand this fact.
To summarize, I believe that a working experience will give a student more benefits in the future than it takes from him or her in the present.

Writing 250 words IELTS test : Student Accommodation
Being a student is a great experience. One of the biggest decisions you will have to make is about where to live while studying. This guide takes you through the issues to consider when making your choice. Probably one of the biggest decisions you need to make is whether you want to go into halls of residence or private accommodation. Generally, students go into halls for the first year and then look for private accommodation later on in their university lives.
The location of your accommodation is also important - especially if you'll be living in private accommodation. Issues to consider here include the crime rate, what the area is like at night, how much it costs to live there and how far it is from the university. If you live in a 'university town' there will probably be a few areas where students typically live, but you shouldn't let this limit your search as you might find a better deal elsewhere.
Whether you want to move into a house or flat will also be an important decision you need to make. This might depend somewhat on the town you are living in. Generally speaking, if you go into halls of residence you are more likely to live in a flat, and if you choose private accommodation students are more likely to live in a house. A house often works out to be more cost effective depending on the location, but it also depends on your preferences.
You also need to think about how many people you want to share with. Often, university is a time when as many people as possible live together in a house, but other people prefer to live with just a few people. You need to think about how comfortable you'd be with lots of people in the house, or whether you'd be happier with just a few friends. Issues to consider here include the facilities that are available in the house you have chosen to live in.
Finally, there is that all-important decision as to who you actually want to share with. Ideally, you want to share with people who will be reliable and pay their share of the bills on time. You might also want to consider sharing with people who are relatively clean and tidy, and who won't damage the property while you're living there. Lots of people like to live with people off their course, or you could live with other friends depending on who you get on with best.
